"Darling, were you satisfied last night?"

Liu Xiaoli was stunned by the question, and her face quickly flushed a deep, vibrant red. How was she supposed to answer that? She turned her head to look out the window, not daring to meet Chen Siyuan's eyes.

Chen Siyuan chuckled. "Darling, whether a life is harmonious or not is a crucial indicator of a healthy marriage. I've handled many divorce cases, and a large portion of them were caused by... a lack of harmony in that department."

Liu Xiaoli stared at him in a daze; she hadn't expected him to bring up such matters from the perspective of his profession.

"Uh..." Liu Xiaoli opened her mouth, but unfortunately, she still couldn't find the words.

"I understand. I'll try even harder tonight!"

"What are you saying? When did I say I wasn't satisfied?" Seeing Chen Siyuan like this, Liu Xiaoli grew anxious. Last night had already pushed her to her limit; trying harder would be the death of her!

"Oh, as long as you're satisfied!" Chen Siyuan raised an eyebrow.

Liu Xiaoli realized then that she had been teased. "Liar! You big liar!" She rolled down the car window, needing the incoming breeze to cool her down.

"Darling, I'll come pick you up tonight!" After dropping Liu Xiaoli off at the entrance of the dance troupe, Chen Siyuan got out and gave her a hug.

"Mm, go on and get to work." Liu Xiaoli straightened his clothes for him. As a top-tier lawyer, Chen Siyuan was always busy, but he had been preoccupied with her affairs for the past few days.

After bidding farewell to Liu Xiaoli, Chen Siyuan returned to his law firm. He had barely stepped into his office when he was embraced by a blonde, blue-eyed stunner. Though she wasn't tall, she was certainly well-endowed.

"Reese, what are you doing here?" Chen Siyuan gently peeled the woman off himself.

Reese looked at him with a hint of resentment. "I heard you got married? To an older woman six years your senior?"

Chen Siyuan sat in his office chair and looked at Reese with a smile. "Reese, how is Ryan Phillippe doing?"

Reese's expression changed instantly. "You... how did you know?"

"Reese, that night was just a case of mutual need, wasn't it?"

"Jack, you really are heartless." Reese quickly regained her composure, demonstrating her acting prowess. "So, are you being serious this time?" she asked, looking at him with curiosity.

Over the past three years, to her knowledge, the number of Chen Siyuan's casual partners exceeded what could be counted on two hands.

"Reese, I need to start working." Chen Siyuan didn't answer her question and proceeded to show her the door. He knew exactly what kind of person she was—she was just using him to practice her acting.

"Hmph, how boring! Jack, aren't you even a little bit nostalgic for my body?" Reese struck a seductive pose.

Chen Siyuan leaned back in his chair and gestured for her to continue. Reese rolled her eyes, buttoned her top back up, and said, "Jack, good luck to you!"

As the sound of her high heels faded away, Chen Siyuan shook his head. He had indeed incurred quite a few romantic debts over the last three years, ranging from future Hollywood stars like Reese to young ladies from prestigious families. However, these Western women had very open attitudes toward intimacy and didn't pester him excessively. They wouldn't dare pester him, either; this top lawyer in New York City wasn't as kind-hearted as he appeared.

Chen Siyuan spent half the day getting the affairs that had piled up over the last two days in order. These days, he didn't need to handle everything himself. The allure of a top-tier attorney was immense, so his firm had recruited many legal and political elites. Under his mentorship, many of them were now capable of handling matters independently.

Once he finished, Chen Siyuan left the office; such was the freedom of being one's own boss. Just as he headed downstairs, he bumped into a stylish blonde woman.

"Jennifer?" Jennifer Aniston, Rachel from *Friends*.

"Jack, want to grab a drink?" Jennifer naturally took his arm.

"Okay!" Chen Siyuan didn't refuse and went to a nearby café with her.

"Finished filming?" Chen Siyuan had known Jennifer before she became Rachel. He could be considered to have "invested" in her early on. After she landed her role in *Friends* with his help, she became an overnight sensation.

"Just finished, and then I heard you got married." Jennifer stared straight at him. She had feelings for him, but unfortunately, he had always treated her as nothing more than a casual partner. *Scumbag.* She only dared to think that to herself, though.

"Mm, just a couple of days ago. You were filming at the time."

Jennifer sipped her coffee in silence. "Do I still have a chance?" she asked bluntly.

"What do you mean by that? Our mutual physical needs?" Chen Siyuan flashed a slightly wicked smile.

Jennifer really wanted to pounce on him and bite him; this man was simply infuriating! She took a deep breath to calm herself down.

"Jack, I won't give up!" With that, Jennifer put on her sunglasses and walked away, her heels clicking against the floor.

Chen Siyuan rubbed his chin, feeling a slight headache; this girl was a bit too stubborn! However, he didn't fret for long; once the coffee was finished, the matter was cast from his mind.

He drove to the New York Dance Troupe. Liu Xiaoli was on stage, wearing her dance training outfit and practicing. When she said she could start from solo performances, she wasn't just talking. Her dancing was truly exceptional! Moreover, she wasn't just proficient in classical Chinese dance; she was equally skilled in other genres. One could tell from the looks on the other dancers' faces that she had already won them over. Even Beverly seemed to be coming around, showing signs of genuine respect.

"Jack, your wife is truly outstanding. I've never seen a dancer with such talent!"

"Dancers usually rely on their youth, but your wife has broken that rule."

"Jack, your wife will surely become world-renowned!"

Mark appeared by Chen Siyuan's side out of nowhere, showering him with praise as if it cost nothing. Chen Siyuan was also somewhat astonished; he had truly underestimated Liu Xiaoli's dancing ability. It was no wonder she had been able to win the Five-One Project Award back then. Thinking of this, he realized how much the Liu Xiaoli of his past life had sacrificed for Liu Yifei. But in this life, she wouldn't need to make such sacrifices.

"Mark, thanks. I’ve already made arrangements with those bloodsuckers at the municipal office. It shouldn't be a problem; don't you worry!"

Repaying kindness with kindness, Chen Siyuan was a man of his word. Mark was overjoyed to finally hear a firm promise from "Jack Chen."

"Jack, please believe me, while your wife is here, she will never be mistreated in any way!" Mark patted his chest.

"Of course! You'd better make sure I can believe you!" Chen Siyuan said, watching Liu Xiaoli leaping on the stage.
