Facing such blatant humiliation, a furious Fook Siu-tong slammed his hand down onto the tea table.

The small, delicate teacup rattled from the rebound, spilling a few drops of tea.

The two bodyguards standing nearby immediately slipped their hands inside the lapels of their suit jackets.

Sung Yan remained seated, entirely unfazed.

Instead, Fook Siu-tong raised a hand to stop his men from taking any further action.

With a dark expression, he sat back down.

"What do you want?"

"You're Po-yi's man. Does she know you've set up this meeting just to threaten me?"

Sung Yan let out a cold laugh. "Does Miss Chu know that her future father-in-law is someone who will stop at nothing for profit, even to the point of betraying Sir Chu?"

Hearing this, Fook Siu-tong's face grew even gloomier.

He had no idea how much crucial information Lok still held in his hands.

And the man sitting before him was clearly in league with Lok!

Burning with suppressed anger, Fook Siu-tong took several heavy breaths until he finally managed to calm down a little.

"Fine. Tell me, what on earth do you want?"

Unable to withstand the pressure, Fook Siu-tong chose to temporarily bow his head and concede.

This was entirely within Sung Yan's expectations.

After all, a man like him, obsessed with his own status, loved himself above all else.

How could he possibly lock horns directly with an underground fighter? Compromise was only a matter of time.

...

With the negotiations back on track, Sung Yan cut straight to the chase.

What he wanted to achieve was quite simple.

On one hand, he needed Fook Siu-tong to find a way to get Lok and Qiu Gang-ao's team released from Stanley Prison ahead of schedule.

On the other hand, he wanted Fook Siu-tong to acquire a legitimate security company in the shortest possible time and unconditionally transfer its shares over to him.

Sung Yan had no intention of going undercover in the triads, but he had planted his flag firmly inside Stanley Prison.

Since he was already saddled with mission objectives related to the underworld, crossing paths with them—and even resorting to violence—was inevitable.

A security company was the most convenient front to utilize through legitimate channels, and it would give him an upright standing.

Furthermore, with Fook Siu-tong Building serving as his stage, once Sung Yan made a name for himself in terms of resources, he could easily gain access to the highest-tier elites, making his operations much smoother.

Combined with his identity as a police informant, if he utilized it with a bit of clever reasoning and strung these pieces together, things would become significantly easier to handle.

The two conditions proposed by Sung Yan were not particularly difficult to fulfill.

At most, it would cost a bit more money. If it meant completely eliminating this hidden threat, Fook Siu-tong would not hesitate for a second.

However, Sung Yan had made his intentions crystal clear: he meant to hold this over Fook Siu-tong for the rest of his life.

That was what made it so agonizing for Fook Siu-tong.

A mere punk from the lowest rungs of underground fighting had actually managed to climb right onto his head.

Though his stomach churned with unvented fury, Fook Siu-tong had no choice but to grit his teeth and swallow it whole.

For the time being, he had no choice but to compromise and placate the other party.

He needed time to clean up the loose ends from his past dealings first.

...

Half a month later, at the back exit of Stanley Prison.

Five figures in prison uniforms stepped out through the doors one after another.

Qiu Gang-ao raised his head and took a deep breath of fresh air.

After years away, he had finally walked out of Stanley Prison.

"Ah Ao!"

"Ah Ao!"

"Ah Ao!"

"Ah Ao!"

A succession of voices nearby pulled Qiu Gang-ao back to reality.

Turning his head, he saw the other brothers who were being released at the same time.

They were his former police teammates who had been locked up in Stanley Prison together due to charges of forced confession and manslaughter.

Miraculously, they were all being released early on the very same day.

Kung-tsi, Po-chu, Ah Wah, and Mo Yiquan.

Their bodies and faces bore scars of varying sizes accumulated inside.

Especially Kung-tsi, also known as Chiu Chi-keung, who had suffered the worst luck.

The cell block where he was detained held the highest number of criminals their team had originally captured.

During his years in Stanley, he had endured unimaginable torture, which not only left him impotent but also half of his face disfigured, looking quite horrific.

Though they were still somewhat puzzled upon release, their sentences should have had a few more months left to run.

To their surprise, they had suddenly been informed that they had served their full terms.

Unclear of the reasons behind it, they certainly had no objections to leaving a place that felt like hell.

Qiu Gang-ao swept his gaze over the four brothers, then thought of another brother who had already perished, his expression darkening slightly.

Yet, he quickly reined in his emotions. "Ah Wah, Po-chu, Ah Chuan, Kung-tsi."

The five men looked at each other and locked into a tight, heavy embrace.

Not far away, a voice interrupted their brotherly reunion.

"Ah Ao, you can save the sentimental talk for later. If you want to hug any longer, you can strip off and sleep together tonight for all I care."

Qiu Gang-ao turned his head and looked at the three sedans parked not far outside the gates.

Lok, who had been released ten days prior, stood by one of the cars.

He was impeccably dressed in a sharp suit, trousers, and gold-rimmed glasses, with his hair slicked back like a corporate elite.

With a flamboyant wave, he called out, "Ah Ao, long time no see."

Standing by another car was Snake Boy Ming, who had also been released a few days earlier.

He was dressed just as sharply, wearing a pair of oversized sunglasses, and raised a hand in greeting. "Ah Ao!"

Qiu Gang-ao smiled silently, nodded at them, and looked toward the final person stepping out of the third car.

He walked over proactively. "Brother Yan."

Sung Yan shared a brief embrace with him. "Welcome back."

Ah Wah and the others remained somewhat bewildered, whispering among themselves:

"Who is that? Ah Ao seems to hold him in high regard."

"When did Ah Ao meet these people? How come I had no idea?"

"Are they brothers from the same cell block?"

Qiu Gang-ao beckoned to the four of them, signaling them to come over, and introduced them:

"Brother Yan, let me introduce you."

"These are my sworn brothers: Ah Wah, Po-chu, Ah Chuan, and Kung-tsi."

Lok laughed from the side. "I already knew that, otherwise Brother Yan wouldn't have bothered getting you all sprung early."

Sung Yan smiled and shook hands with the four men one by one.

Following Qiu Gang-ao's lead, the four of them each addressed him as Brother Yan, though their tone still carried a trace of unfamiliarity.

Inside the car, the group of brothers huddled together, whispering their curiosities to Qiu Gang-ao:

"Ah Ao, who is that guy?"

"He looks awfully imposing."

"You seem to respect him a lot?"

Qiu Gang-ao replied, "Of course he's imposing. He can take on dozens of men by himself—Brother Yan's fighting skills are out of this world."

Hearing this, the others immediately caught on.

If anyone had asked whose name had rung out the loudest in Stanley Prison over the past month, it was undoubtedly the monster from Cell Block Nine.

Beast, Terminator, Monster, Tyrannosaurus...

All sorts of exaggerated nicknames had been heaped upon him.

The tales of his exploits had grown increasingly wild, almost reaching absurd proportions.

Realizing that Ah Ao had been in Cell Block Nine as well, they began to understand.

Kung-tsi lowered his voice and asked, "Ah Ao, where are we heading?"

Qiu Gang-ao answered, "Brother Yan said he's taking everyone out for a welcome banquet, and arrangements will be made afterward."

With that, he turned to Lok. "Ah Lok, what is Brother Yan up to these days?"

Lok chuckled. "Brother Yan?"

"He's making quite a name for himself now. The Golden Shield Security Company has been rising fast lately, and Brother Yan's running the show over there."

Lok briefly recounted Sung Yan's exploits over the past half-month.

During these two weeks, Sung Yan had spent most of his time handling affairs for the security company.

Share transfers, business arrangements, and various facility issues all required his personal attention.

There was simply no help to be relied upon.

Fortunately, over the next few days, Lok, Snake Boy Ming, and a few thugs from Cell Block Nine were released one after another.

They had lent a hand in recruiting personnel and organizing operations.

Otherwise, Sung Yan wouldn't even have had the time to step into Fook Siu-tong Building to fight a few matches in the ring.
