Immediately, Long Aotian’s mind flashed back to scenes from when his grandfather was still alive.

“Xiao Long, let me tell you—don’t be fooled by how grandpa seems now. Compared to some people, grandpa is nothing. Look at this.” With that, he took out a black-and-white photo and placed it before Long Aotian.

“See this? Whoever holds this token is the true King of Hell. If you ever meet that person, even if you can’t bow down to them, you absolutely must not offend them, or else our Long family will face annihilation.”

Long Aotian, only about ten years old at the time, looked at the photo in his grandfather’s hand with confusion. “Grandpa, what is this?”

“It’s the Dragon King Token. Whoever possesses it commands all the gangs in the world without exception. Those who don’t obey are doomed.”

He had almost offended someone of what caliber?

In truth, he had doubted for a moment whether the token was real, but Long Aotian knew his own strength well. If Su Tian were a fake, he wouldn’t have been able to defeat him.

“Big Brother! Sorry, I underestimated you and offended you!”

The nearby underlings were stunned. “Big Brother, what are you doing? This kid’s family still owes us money!”

Long Aotian got up and kicked one of the underlings aside. “What nonsense are you talking? Owing money? No one owes anything! If you can’t speak properly, shut up!”

He then approached Su Tian with a servile expression. “Big Brother, it was that Qin kid who sent me here, saying he’d give me two million. If I’d known it was you, I wouldn’t have come for anything.”

“What do you mean by that? You think I’m easy to bully, so you pick on the weak?”

“Never, Big Brother!”

Su Tian turned his gaze toward the door. “Where’s Qin Tian?”

The underling guarding the door replied, “Big Brother, Qin Tian just ran off.”

Long Aotian frowned and cursed silently, knowing that kid was unreliable.

Outside, only Xue Xue and a group of underlings remained; the other guests had already been pushed downstairs.

Today’s wedding was clearly not going to happen.

And she deserved this.

Feeling disgusted staying any longer, Su Tian walked out, passing by Xue Xue and saying, “This is only the beginning, Xue Xue. You owe me, and you’ll never be able to repay it in this lifetime.”

With that, he descended the stairs and left.

Long Aotian hurriedly followed with his underlings.

Once they were gone, Xue Xue sank to the floor in despair.

It was over—her efforts had all been in vain…

Downstairs, the guests looked at Su Tian as if he were a monster. Offending both the Qin family and Long Aotian, yet walking away unscathed? Who would believe that?

“Big Brother, where are you going? I came by car—I can drive you.”

Su Tian glanced back at the underlings behind him. “You should focus on them. Their blood is already flowing into their chest cavities. You can’t see it on the outside, but if it’s any later, even the Great Immortals can’t save them.”

Long Aotian was shocked.

He knelt immediately. “Big Brother, offending you today was unavoidable. If you can save my men, Long Aotian is willing to serve you as a beast of burden without complaint.”

No joke—being with someone like this meant he’d have a place wherever he went.

Su Tian squatted by the roadside and had the injured placed before him.

No one knew where Su Tian pulled out a pack of silver needles, but after a few quick pricks, one underling spat out a mouthful of fresh blood.

Long Aotian was startled. “Big Brother, this…”

“Spitting out the blood is what matters.”

Then a dozen underlings took turns spitting blood by the roadside, scaring passersby from even glancing.

Su Tian squatted there while Long Aotian kicked one underling’s backside. “Don’t you have any discretion?”

The underling rushed to a nearby store to buy two bottles of drink and handed them to their boss.

Long Aotian opened one and offered it to Su Tian. “Big Brother, drink some water first; we can talk slowly.”

Su Tian glanced at Long Aotian. “You should know about our family’s business. What I want to know is, who killed my father?”

Long Aotian sighed and squatted beside Su Tian. “Big Brother… how to put it… Uncle borrowed fifty thousand from us before—he was desperate. The Qin family pressured him hard. I heard uncle sold everything he could at home, borrowed from relatives and friends—he just couldn’t get any more. That’s why he came to me for a loan. It’s normal for us to press for repayment, but as long as uncle can pay back, we wouldn’t make it difficult. However, the old master of the Qin family insisted on teaching you a lesson and forced us to pressure uncle even more. We didn’t harm him, but maybe the pressure was too much for uncle, so…”

Long Aotian wasn’t shirking responsibility; that was the truth. Though involved in gangs, they still had a sense of reason.

Leave a way out for others, so you may meet again in the future.

Hearing this, Su Tian clenched the flowerbed by the roadside so tightly that Long Aotian only glanced once before seeing him crush it with his grip.

If that were his own arm…

He dared not imagine.

“Big Brother, if you have any plans moving forward, just tell me. If it’s within my power, I’ll help.”

Before Su Tian could speak, a woman in a wedding dress rushed out from the community behind them.

She looked at Su Tian and ran up to him. “Xiao Tian, don’t blame me. This really isn’t my doing. When I learned uncle had died, I was heartbroken, but I had no choice. Qin Tian threatened me—if I kept any connection with you, our family would be ruined. My parents are just ordinary workers; they can’t afford this trouble. It’s all Qin Tian. He told the Qin family that you bullied him and wanted him imprisoned. That’s why the Qin family came after you…”

Looking at Xue Xue clinging to him, Su Tian only believed a little of what she said. He would never fully trust her.

He could roughly see what kind of woman Xue Xue had become.

So he smiled coldly. “You think by saying that, I’ll forgive you? Xue Xue, you’re no longer the Xue Xue I knew. Now, even looking at you disgusts me.”

Long Aotian, sensing the boss’s mood, said, “What are you all standing there for? Drag this woman away quickly. She’s an eyesore to the boss!”

“Yes, boss!”

Xue Xue was dragged off by several men.

Su Tian turned and left. Long Aotian hurried after him. “Big Brother, do you have a grudge against the Qin family?”

Su Tian said nothing. He couldn’t reveal everything to Long Aotian just yet; he didn’t fully trust him.

“Big Brother, I heard the Qin family is holding a charity auction today. It’s arranged by the old master to curry favor for his grandson’s wedding. If you want to target the Qin family, why not stir up some trouble there today?”

Su Tian glanced at Long Aotian beside him and nodded.

The Qin family…

I’m back.
